Crème de la Mer is a great moisturizer. It works very well when applied to normal and dry skin. But because of its great moisturizing ability, it can be too rich and heavy when applied to oily skin. This is the reason why there are other users who are not satisfied with the results. This cream is also good in concealing wrinkles. Indeed, this product can deliver great effects on the skin, but if you are a person who is not willing to spend so much money on a skin moisturizer then this product is not for you. Crème de la Mer is very costly compared to other creams. Cost is the major downside of this product.

This is what they claim.
(Quoted from Crème de la Mer Website)

Even now, it is not entirely clear how Crème de la Mer works. For us schooled in logic, it is something of a jolt to the imagination. But facts are facts and certainly the proof can be seen on the faces of those who use it. In a short time, skin becomes softer, firmer, looks virtually creaseless. Aging lines and pores are noticeably less visible. Even the driest of complexions are healed. Sensitivities are soothed. And, of course, there are some who insist it has produced astonishing results – as Dr. Max Huber witnessed. No wonder many who have tried every cream available remain steadfast in their devotion to Crème de la Mer.

Added to that the site claims the secret to their results is their “Miracle Broth”. To activate the broth and release its key ingredients, warm a small amount between your fingertips. As you pat it onto clean, dry skin, you will instantly feel the soothing effects of the broth. Smooth it over your face, neck, and even under the fragile eye area.

Read some quotes from actual users:

“Very expensive, no anti aging ingredients, no SPF, greasy”

“$110 might be out of your price range for a moisturizer.”

“Made my face too shiny and is very, very thick!”

“Very overpriced for what it can do – just a basic moisturizer”

– It is a great moisturizer.
– It can hydrate the skin, leaving it smooth and soft.
– Very effective when applied to dry skin.
– There are some users who claim that it can make fine lines and wrinkles almost unnoticeable.
– It has a lasting moisturizing effect.

Quotes from actual users:

“I like this moisturizer. I have dry skin year round, and I put this on at night. It doesn’t break me out or leave me shiny or greasy.”

“…its a great moisturizer. One of the best in the market…”

“This is my HG moisturizer! It’s very great at hydrating and moisturizing.”

Guarantee: The guarantee may vary depending on the website selling this product. (But there is no money-back or replacement guarantee stated on their main website.)

Conclusion: Crème de la Mer has been claimed to be one of the best moisturizing cream in the market. But the problem is, not all people can afford to buy such a costly moisturizer. If you are willing to spend so much money in a moisturizing cream then you can try this out. This is great in hydrating the skin and keeping it moisturized. But if you expect more than that from a facial cream then you’ll probably be tossing away a significant amount of money. Your skin type is another thing that you should consider. If you have oily skin, this product may not work for you. This product works best for normal to dry skin.
